With each edition we will try to bring you a useful software program you don't have to pay for... just as we have done in previous months. Some are direct from Rose City and some are great toys and tools we have discovered elsewhere that we think you will like! This month, we have two great freebies to tell you about. The first is a handy free tool called Jumplist-Launcher for Windows 7 and Vista as well. The newly introduced jumplists, which appear when you right-click on an icon in the superbar (taskbar), help improving the workflow a lot, but if you want combine multiple programs in one icon, there's no way to do it except to create new toolbars on the taskbar. 
Jumplist-Launcher comes to rescue! The Jumplist-Launcher application was designed to be a small tool that lets you add up to 60 programs, files or folders within self-defined groups inside a jumplist. And you can also create subgroups inside the list.
It can be pinned to the taskbar or superbar, placing it right next to the start button. And it is a snap to edit... just drag shortcuts in there from your programs menu (hold the CTRL key down when you do this to copy the shortcut rather than move it). Jumplist-Launcher is easy to use. This is a standalone tool... no installation, just put it somewhere and make a shortcut to it. Just visit the Jumplist-Launcher website and start speeding up your computer work today! 
Oh and here's another cool tool good for all of you, whether using Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7. We all know what a piece of junk the windows magnifier is... and quite often there's something on the web you want to see up closer. There are the various basic Windows tricks to enlarge text size on the webpage. But here's a terrific freeware magnifier that is configurable and works really well... a real boon for the eyes. This is another standalone tool... no installation, just put it somewhere and rightclick on it to make a shortcut to it.
