And what better gift to give or receive than some really cool software for your loved ones' computers? Here at Rose City Software, we have some great tools to enhance your online experience. This month we're featuring a special deal on the brand new, just released Registry First Aid 7.0, the best way to keep your PC running smooth, fast and reliable. With each edition we will try to bring you a useful software program you don't have to pay for... just as we did in previous months. Some are direct from Rose City and some are great toys and tools we have discovered elsewhere that we think you will like! This month, we have a handy freeware tool called Pfrank, an acronym for Peter's Flexible RenAmiNg Kit. You are most likely going to be taking lots of digital photos at Christmas. Don't you just love the way your digital camera gives your photos names like CIMG0796.JPG or P7200167a.JPG? Wouldn't you much rather save them to your harddrive as Christmas2008? Or NewYears08? Well Pfrank can do that and a whole lot more. Pfrank is a Freeware Professional Grade bulk file/folder renaming program that runs under Windows. With this tool you can easily organize your music, picture, video, or any other types of files. Although PFrank is was primarily designed for renaming, it can also be used to do bulk comment editing for JPG files and also features bulk file property changing capabilities. No other renaming program has the flexibility of PFrank! You can learn more about this amazing free tool at the Pfrank website. Use the MajorGeek download links there, but take care you are downloading Pfrank and not one of the advertisers. Or you can download the XP version from this link at the Soft82.com shareware site ************* Now then... if this tool is a little too geeky for you and you want a simple way to rename files in bulk, try this page at our Rose City Software website for the quick and easy way to do a very simple job of it. ************* And for lots of other cool free tools please check our website. But first, read on for some other great software specials and tips... |
